What is MTP 2.0?

Medicaid Transformation Project 2.0 (MTP 2.0) is Washington State’s next phase of investing in community-driven health improvement — and our region is well-positioned because of the foundation already built here. Through MTP 1.0 (in place 2017-2023), partners across our region invested in a care coordination network and collaborative approaches that strengthened connections between health care, social services, and community-based organizations. 

 

MTP 2.0 builds on that groundwork, expanding flexible benefits and deepening partnerships so CHOICE can continue advancing health-related social needs work, support coordinated systems of care, and lift up local solutions that improve health outcomes and reduce costs.
