Our organization
CHOICE (Community Health Organization Improving Care and Equity) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health equity, and improving healthcare access, outcomes, and systems of care. We collaborate with local healthcare providers, community partners, and Tribal health leaders to fund and support regional health improvement projects.

CHOICE is the Accountable Community of Health (ACH) serving the Central Western Washington region.
At the heart of ACHs is an unwavering commitment to health equity. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to live their healthiest life. This means addressing disparities and championing fairness and justice in health, social, behavioral, and community services.
Our region
We serve everyone in the Central Western Washington region, which is home to unique and diverse communities in the jurisdictions of Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Cowlitz, Pacific, Grays Harbor, and Wahkiakum counties and the sovereign nations of the Chehalis, Cowlitz, Nisqually, Quinault, Shoalwater Bay, Skokomish, and Squaxin Island Tribes.

Reconocimiento de tierras
Cada comunidad debe su existencia y vitalidad a generaciones de todo el mundo que contribuyeron con sus esperanzas, sueños y energÃa para hacer la historia que condujo a este momento en el tiempo. Algunos fueron traÃdos aquà en contra de su voluntad, otros se sintieron atraÃdos a dejar sus hogares lejanos con la esperanza de una vida mejor, y algunos han vivido en esta tierra durante más generaciones de las que se pueden contar. La verdad y el reconocimiento son fundamentales para construir el respeto mutuo y la conexión a través de todas las barreras del patrimonio y la diferencia.

CHOICE / CPAA reconoce que su ubicación y sus socios se encuentran en las tierras de los pueblos nativos, que han vivido en esta región desde tiempos inmemoriales. En particular, agradecemos la hospitalidad de los Chehalis, la Tribu Cowlitz, la Tribu Nisqually, los Quinault, la Tribu Shoalwater Bay, los Skokomish y la Tribu de la Isla Squaxin.
