At CHOICE, our staff are engaged in active conversations with partners and stakeholders about important issues such as suicide prevention. CHOICE currently sponsors virtual suicide prevention training. In 2022, CHOICE staff are engaging with educational leaders to role out another initiative called Hope Squad.

CHOICE/CPAA is pleased to be a co-sponsor with Family Education Support Services in suicide prevention training.  The model for this training is better known by the acronym QPR (Question Persuade Refer). Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. QPR is the most widely taught Gatekeeper training in the world.
